Tiwall, one of the known platforms for cultural events, has planned a trip to Ghazzali Cinema Town, 14km west of Tehran.
Visitors of the tour on Friday will walk through the settings, places and streets built for great cinema and TV projects. The decors are based on historical photographs, drawings documents and descriptions.
At the cinema town, participants will see the building of Tehran Municipality and nearby Toopkhaneh Square during the 1950s shape. They will also visit the squares of Moniriyeh and Baharestan as well as the famous Lalezar and Pamenar streets of the 1960s, among the Tehran replicas.
City of Nazareth, a set made for the TV series of ‘Saint Mary’ (2000), written and directed by Shahryar Bahrani, is also in the program.
Live music performance and a comedy play are included. The program is from 11am to 4pm. More information at Tiwall.com.
