Visual artist Hesam Safaeifard has presented an account of the 1980-88 Iran-Iraq war at Jaleh Art Gallery.
“2,885 Days” is the artist’s solo exhibit, running through May 11 and featuring a series of abstract works mostly in white, Tiwall.com wrote.
There are 11 large works on show, paintings of mixed media created with cloth and wood. In his expressionist works, he has presented an abstract reflection of the war.
Born in 1983, Safaeifard offers a critical reflection on the devastating event.
The venue is located at No. 3, Noshahr Alley, Iranshahr Street on Karim Khan Avenue. Visiting hours are from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. The gallery is closed on Saturdays.
