Tehran Book Garden Programs Extended for Ramadan

Book Garden has extended its working hours during the fasting month of Ramadan (started May 17).

The vast cultural complex, located in the Abbasabad Hills, southeast of Vanak Square, is hosting a series of special programs for Ramadan.

“During Ramadan, the cineplex of Book Garden sells tickets from 3 pm to 2 am. On Saturdays and Tuesdays, from 3 pm to Iftar (fast-breaking at dusk), tickets are sold at 50% discount,” ISNA quoted CEO of Book Garden Seyyed Majid Hosseini as saying. “In this month, Children’s Science Garden of the complex is open  from 10 am to dawn the next day. Book shops, a robotics club, cafes and restaurants offer services till dawn,” Hosseini said.

Book Garden hosts a live music program every night from 11 pm to 1 am. On the first floor of its main building, there is a festival of Iranian ethnic groups with various programs introducing rituals and traditions. Handicrafts and souvenirs are also sold.
