Short Animation Competes in Trenton

Short animated movie “Lulu,” directed by Kianoush Abedi and Nima Majlesi, has entered the competition lineup of “Art All Night” festival in New Jersey, the US.

The vying animation is one episode from a series which pictures the adventures of three little fictional creatures that live on the backside of mirrors in a house of an old man, according to the Persian website of Mehr News Agency.

Slated for June 16-17, Art All Night is a 24-hour art and entertainment event in the city of Trenton. At the festival, Lulu will compete with 200 short films from 40 countries.

The festival brings a new challenge to the aspiring filmmakers at the event. They are encouraged to take part in “24-Hour Film Maker” challenge where one may film the event, using either a mobile phone or professional equipment, and bring back an edited version to be shown at the end of the film festival at 2 pm.
