An exhibition of 101 black and white photographs is planned in Tehran and Isfahan from June 22-September 18.
The summer tour exhibition “The Decisive Moment” features analogue and digital photos by 101 Iranian and foreign artists, Honaronline reported on its Persian website.
It is curated by photographers Mohammad Ali and Reza Famori. Photos will also be on sale with prices starting from one million rials ($24).
The first exhibition opens at the Rooberoo Mansion in Tehran and continues at Negar Art Gallery, No. 4 Art Gallery, and Entezami Museum, all in the capital before going to Matn Gallery in Isfahan. Coming back to Tehran, the photos will be shown at Aliha Art Gallery and finally at Ariana Art Gallery.
The title of the exhibition is inspired by the French photographer Henri Cartier Bresson (1908-2004), a pioneer of the genre of street photography who viewed photography as “capturing a decisive moment”.
