An exhibition of artworks by contemporary Czech illustrators opened on Friday at the Iranian Artists Forum.
“From the Heart of Europe” features 23 illustrations, 50cm by 70cm, created via various techniques, Mehr News Agency reported on its Persian website.
It includes book illustrations that have received the Hans Christian Andersen Illustration Award, the Biennial of Illustration Bratislava Award and the Bologna Children’s Book Award.
The exhibition poster is created by young graphic designer Golriz Gorgani.
Organized by the Iranian Illustrators Society, Embassy of the Czech Republic in Iran and the Czech Republic Illustrators Society, the event will run through July 10.
The venue is located at Honarmandan (Artists) Park, Iranshahr St., Taleqani St.
