Loto Music Band will perform concerts on Thursday and Friday at Godfather Café in Tehran.
With an acoustic guitar and a flute, the two-member band will play folk songs and old songs from across the world and a selection of soundtracks.
Meysam Nadafian plays the flute and Ebrahim Mousapour is on the guitar. “Donna Donna” is in the repertoire. It is an originally Yiddish song about a calf being led to slaughter written by Sholom Secunda and Aaron Zeitlin. A 1960 version of Donna Donna by American singer and songwriter Joan Baez is among the popular editions of the song.
Among the sound tracks Loto has picked famous themes from the movies “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly,” “Secret Garden,” “Godfather,” “Papillion,” and “Love Story”.
