E1 Gallery in Tehran is holding a group painting exhibition featuring works of women artists.
Named "This is Me" after a poem by the eminent poet and filmmaker Forough Farrokhzad (1935-1967), it displays a selection of works by 32 artists, Tandismag.om reported on its Persian website.
On show are works by well-known artists like Farah Osouli, 65, Samila Amir-Ebrahimi, 68, Parvaneh Etemadi, 71, Iran Darroudi, 81, and Farideh Lashaei (1944-2013).
Other artists include Delaram Ashtiani, Sara Jafari, Pegah Jamali, Touran Zandieh and Eliana Shams-Langeroudi.
Works by Iran-based Hungarian artist Gizella Varga Sinai, 74, wife of Iranian filmmaker Khosrow Sinaei are also on show.
The works will remain on display through July 24. E1 Gallery is located at No. 1, Hamid Dead-End, Lesani Alley, Jebheh Street, Mahdieh Street, Elahieh neighborhood.
