Dang Show folk band will perform a selection of its popular pieces on July 30 at the iconic Vahdat Hall.
The concert includes a selection of pieces from “Mad-o-Nay,” Dang Show’s 2017 album as well as older songs from its first album ‘Dang Show Room’ released in 2014.
Lyricist Taha Parsa, co-founder of the band, sings and plays saxophone. Reza Shaya, the other founder, and Milad Baqeri also sing while Shaya also plays the piano, according to Iranconcert.com, where the tickets are available.
Saba Samimi is on percussion and Kasra Saboktakin plays bass guitar. Kamancheh player Aydin Torkian, reed player Es’haq Chegini and cellist Makan Khoei are the other instrumentalists.
Vahdat Hall is located on Shahryar Blvd., Hafez Street, south of Enqelab Avenue.
