President Obama and members of his staff honored the victims of 9/11 on Thursday with a moment of silence on the South Lawn at the White House.The solemn ceremony took place at 8:46 a.m., the minute at which the first of two hijacked planes struck the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City 13 years ago.
